Tim Henthorn researches marketing technologies that enable marketing professionals to leverage technology solutions in the marketplace and deliver business results. He built his career as an executive in companies that range in size from startup to midsize organizations and provided products and consulting to companies of all sizes, including the Fortune 500. He excels at managing businesses and products with specific consulting expertise in innovating, building, evaluating and implementing both information services and software solutions.

His career began in the financial services industry working for SEI Corporation. The benchmarking work he completed led him to a Chicagoland based startup – TravelClick, in the travel and hospitality industry. While there, the company received a venture investment from Bain Capital and was later sold to multiple investment companies. Tim subsequently worked at TIG Global, an online marketing firm, which was eventually acquired by Micros and then Oracle. His responsibilities encompassed building and identifying new marketing technologies that could be applied to the company’s client base for the purposes of increasing brand awareness, measuring performance and generating revenue. Most recently, Tim was a Sr. Business Architect and Certified Business Architect (CBA)® at STA Group where he provided CRM consulting services to the insurance industry as part of their business architecture practice.

Tim received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
